Please try again later. If you use Lightroom and Photoshop and are serious about your photography you continue to subscribe and the best way to do this is to wait for an Amazon Prime deal. Simple as that. Not much to say really. You would think it would work out off the box But it doesn’t many things need to be fixed At this price from such a major company as Adobe this is poor. I had used Lr6 software as a stand-alone version, bought as a similar to this product here prepaid card at Currys.
That worked fine. I bought a CC subscription code on eBay private seller and at first it worked OK, but then after only 6 months the software ceased to open due to ‘subscription has expired’. Seller gone AWOL.
So it was urgent to fix and I was concerned that I may have Adobe account issues with this prepaid card method. So I logged into my Adobe account, searched help for how to use the Activation Code given by Amazon, after purchase and found you simply Log In to your acct, go to an Activation page, enter the code and off you go. I bit the bullet and bought the Amazon subscription.
The activation code came through on an Amazon web page immediately after payment. I entered the code into Adobe page and all was immediately registered and fixed. Good as gold. I did have to contact Adobe Support because the expired eBay subscription was causing a glitch – but that was specific to my situation. Support Chat responded in less than a minute tho it sometimes takes over 30 mins, I must admit. So if you DO have any issues with Adobe software – go to their support page and jump through a couple of FAQ and Self Help loops to get access to the Chat service – really very good aside from the possible wait time.
Note that those clever people at Adobe now take your credit card details when you subscribe and they sign you up to auto-renewals, which you have to cancel if you wish to go for the pre-paid option next year.
NOTE: – If you DO NOT already have an Adobe account when you try to register this activation code, you will first be guided to make one, then enter your code, then the website will offer you to download Lr to your computer. You do that and off you go. It will still offer to download the software but you can ignore it. So – I have had experience with standalone Lr and eBay ‘prepaid deals’ and I highly recommend using this pre-paid product as a cost-effective and reliable legit way of using the software.
Cheapest way to get this software when on offer. Follow the instructions to redeem just make sure you are signed in first then before adding code if you already have it on monthly or renewing your subscription or will class it as a new installation on a new account.
One person found this helpful. Amazon seem to have this on offer every Black Friday, at a huge discount from the Adobe monthly fee. I had a few months left on my subscription. I purchased this code and activated it using the link in the email. I haven’t been charged an exit fee by Adobe, and my subscription is now showing as paid for the year. Very easy to do. As for the products – I’ve been using Lightroom to manage and edit my photos since version 2.
I’ve tried other companies offerings, but they don’t come close. Photoshop does far more than I need, but it’s great for the more complicated editing that Lightroom can’t do. Keep an eye out for when it’s discounted as it makes it quite a bit more affordable. Otherwise some great photography software.
